Mined in Eureka County, Nevada, from 1929 through the 1970s, Number 8 turquoise is prized by collectors for its vibrant blue color, distinctive golden-brown to black spiderweb matrix, and increasing rarity. With the mine long since exhausted, authentic Number 8 turquoise has become increasingly difficult to find, making these earrings as collectible as they are beautiful.

I handcrafted each earring from sterling silver, allowing the natural character of these remarkable stones to take center stage. The freeform turquoise cabochons are framed in fine silver bezels and suspended from hand-formed sterling silver ear wires that create graceful movement while remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Although carefully matched, the stones retain their own individual patterns, a reminder that every natural gemstone is one of a kind.
