White Buffalo is a rare white-and-black gemstone found only at the Dry Creek Mine near Tonopah, Nevada. Its bold contrast and limited availability have made it one of the most recognizable materials used in contemporary Southwestern jewelry. Although it's often marketed as "White Buffalo Turquoise," it isn't considered true turquoise because it lacks the copper that gives turquoise its characteristic blue-green color.
