This gorgeous heart pendant is made from high-grade natural (not stabilized) Number 8 turquoise that I cut and polished myself. It is surrounded by a serrated fine silver bezel and topped with a hand cast flower. It hangs from a handcrafted genuine leather cord with sterling silver lobster clasp and findings.
The Number 8 mine, located in Nevada, produced turquoise from 1929 until the 1970s. As it is now depleted, Number 8 turquoise stones are becoming more and more rare and collectible.
Please note that this is handmade item using natural and/or recycled materials and, as such, may contain minor imperfections. That's the beauty of not buying mass-produced jewelry, though -- you get a one-of-a-kind piece!
Your new jewel will be packaged in a muslin pouch and inside it's own box. I include a silver polishing cloth with each sterling silver piece of jewelry so you can keep it as shiny and beautiful as the day it came home to you!
